I went to Dr. Zareba with severe toothache about a year ago. Root Canal has been completed within an hour, no pain since then, surprisingly neither during treatment . I could see everything, he was doing with my tooth, on big monitor in front of me. It was awesome. Next week a crown. I was already prepared for big chunk of rubber in mouth and another nice surprise. The tooth has been filled and shaved within minutes and instead of gauging me, he inserted a camera and took optical impression of my teeth. I have seen 3D model on the screen, all details, perfect, sharp. I could even rotate the model. He sent it over internet to Lab and next week, I got beautiful crown without metal, which fills like my teeth, not like icy porcelain one. None of my friends complained on him, even my wife loves her new ceramic veneers. I strongly recommend him. Next step, implants. CAT scan taken. It is awesome to see own jaw on the screen and rotate it.

Dentist - A dentist is a person qualified by a doctorate in dental surgery (D.D.S.) or dental medicine (D.M.D.), licensed by the state to practice dentistry, and practicing within the scope of that license. There is no difference between the two degrees: dentists who have a DMD or DDS have the same education. Universities have the prerogative to determine what degree is awarded. Both degrees use the same curriculum requirements set by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation. Generally, three or more years of undergraduate education plus four years of dental school is required to graduate and become a general dentist. State licensing boards accept either degree as equivalent, and both degrees allow licensed individuals to practice the same scope of general dentistry. Additional post-graduate training is required to become a dental specialist.
